OffsetC

Calculate the amount of CO2 you are adding to the atmosphere, considering the 2 most common factors for a common person, transport and electricity consumption

Formulas:

total emissions = (electricity emission + fuel emission) x days

electricity emission = per day consumption * avgerage CO2 produced per kWh * percentage of power generated using non renewable resources in your country

fuel emission = (miles / mileage) * CO2 produced by buring 1L of gasoline

Data:

Average CO2 per kWh: 475gCo2/kWh (here)

CO2 produced in burning 1L of gasoline: 2.3kg (here)

Percentage of power generated using non renewable resources (country wise): ourworldinddata.org
